The project concept had the collective objectives of creating temporary ground floor office accommodation for BE staff whilst upgrade works are undertaken at the Embassy. The scope also included refurbishment levels 1 & 2 for the purpose of creating a new HMA Residence.
Our project programme was structured around the 5no. Predominant groupings of tasks/activities within the works.
- Electrical & Mechanical Infrastructure
- Structural (Seismic Upgrade Works)
- Fire Compliance Works
- Security Provisions
- Finishing Works
The electrical re-wire was extensive and comprehensive – to ensure British Standards.
Improvements to increase resistance and reduce seismic weakness’s within the building.
Responsive works directed by the Trenton Fire report that was issued.
Physical security upgrade works to the office accommodation and installation of both access control/CCTV.
Redecoration, new ceilings and furniture were just a few elements of the quality finished product.
